ClassForKids is primarily built around trials, full term and camp bookings, however, if Pay as You Go Terms are something you would like to offer then there are a few workarounds that can allow you to facilitate this.

One Week Terms

Pay as You Go Terms can be set up by creating a one-week term as this will generate one weekly session rather than a full term.

You can set-up multiple separate weeks at a time and re-run as far as you would like to offer availability.

To set up a one-week term, click onto the 'Schedule' page and click 'Add a New Term'

From there, add the name of your term and choose 'Standard' for the payment option:

To make it clear which dates this term will cover, we have found naming terms after seasons works well! For example: 'Winter Term 2023'

When choosing your dates, be sure to select these across one week only:

Then click the 'Add in any holidays' button to select any days you aren't running within your sessions (for example, bank holidays). These will show as red on the calendar.

You don't need to add any days your classes don't usually run as a holiday!

For example, if you aren't scheduling any classes on a Saturday, you don't have to mark this as a holiday.

Once you have set up the term, you can schedule classes within your term and this will only generate one session.

We would advise choosing 'Full Term Only' for the pricing. This can then be set as the session price.

Then when parents and carers book in, they will be able to book only one session:

If you are offering Pay as You Go sessions across your entire schedule, each session must be set up as its own class.

We often see clubs set this up with weekly terms.

For example:

The Trial Feature

If you run Pay as You Go alongside full-term bookings, and would like to offer parents and carers either option, you can use the trial feature to do this.

To do this, select the 'I Offer a Trial' option when setting up the class and set the trial price to the price of a session:

This can also be set up after the creation of the class by clicking the 'Edit' button in the top right corner of the class register:

Once this has been set up, parents and carers will be able to book a single session by booking a trial:

If you want the parent/carer to be able to book another session, you can remove their booking once they have attended:

Please note, to allow parents and carers the ability to book another session, their booking must be removed as shown above.

If the trial is ended using the 'Trial Options' they will not have the option to book again.
