The ClassForKids Parent App has a ‘Check in’ feature, which allows parents to disclose whether their coaches should expect to see their child at upcoming classes.

How does this look for parents?

The parent marks their child as ‘Attending’ or ‘Not attending’ by going to their ‘Schedule’ within the app, then they can click ‘Going’ or ‘Not going’.

You can read the parent guide to see how this works from their side here - http://help.class4kids.co.uk/en/articles/7022038-for-parents-how-to-use-the-parent-app

The classes on the schedule default to the upcoming week, so this is the session they will mark attendance against. If they want to mark against upcoming weeks, they can change the date from the top of the schedule. Parents can also change their 'attending' status for their children's bookings at any point.

How do I see what parents have checked in?

In your register, you can see a ‘check in’ tab. This displays all of the kids who have:

  • No action has been taken (?)

  • They have been marked as attending.

  • They have been marked as not attending

See how the register check in feature works below.

Can I sync check-in with the real register?

Your real register can't be synced with the real register currently. The 'Check in' tab should be used as a draft to expect children at class.
